Frequently asked questions about Thread Cutting Grease (Thread Tallow)
Thread Cutting Grease is physiologically safe, silicone free, water repellent and transparent. It can be used at temperatures up to +40 °C.
It is not suitable for applications above +40 °C. For high loads or temperatures use high temperature greases.
Clean the thread thoroughly before application and apply a thin layer. Distribute the film evenly over the thread.
Protection lasts several weeks to months under normal use. Reapply after each use under high load or frequent disassembly.
It is transparent and leaves only a thin lubricating film. No visible residues remain.
